La Jopen Koyt è una birra olandese prodotta secondo L'Haarlems Brouweskeur del 1407. Secondo questa ricetta locale, la birra deve essere prodotta con il gruit, una miscela di erbe medioevali. Birra scura, dal colore rosso-marrone, presenta un aroma forte e speziato ma un sapore morbido e dolce. Il malto scuro le regala note caramellate, ma a farla da padrona in primo piano è la parte speziata che si ripropone anche nel retrogusto.

Samuel Smith India Ale is an English Pale Ale style beer. This artisanal one is blonde in color, slightly amber, and has a light shade. It is produced using selections of the best malts, and generous quantities of hops which give it its aromatic and fruity notes. It is a well-balanced Pale Ale, balanced between the sweetness of the malts and the bitterness of the hops of which it holds the main characteristic. The particular method of fermentation in stone vats makes Samuel Smith India Ale a full-bodied beer despite its low alcohol content.
